In a lawsuit, Flourgon says Miley’s 2013 “We Can’t Stop” borrows heavily from his 1988 tune, “We Run Things.”
According to gossip sites, in the documents filed, Flourgon isn’t accusing Miley of stealing his music or line. However, he says she jacked his “unique and creative lyrical phraseology in order to establish an overarching and pervasive theme. in the realm of self-discovery and self-governings.”
Flourgon is suing Miley Cyrus and Sony to block further distribution, sales, and performances of “We Can’t Stop.” He is also seeking monetary compensation.
He is asking for US 300 Million.
