Police urging calm following shooting of Leighton ‘Livity’ Coke

LivityThe police are dispelling rumours that Leighton ‘Livity’ Coke, the brother of convicted gangster Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, is dead and are urging citizens to remain calm.

Livity and a female companion were shot and injured on the Hellshire main road in St Catherine this morning.
The two were taken to hospital, where they were admitted in stable condition.

Head of the Constabulary Communication Unit, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says the police are keeping a watch on West Kingston, in light of the incident.

In the meantime, the police are asking anyone with information that can assist in the investigation of the shooting to contact the Portmore police at 949-8422, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
