The organizer of the YVAs is responding after entertainer Nesbeth questioned their authenticity.
On Saturday, Nesbeth made headlines when he stormed out of the YVAs after his infectious hit “My Dream” lost to Vybz Kartel’s “Fever” to win the title Favourite Local Chart Topping Song of the year.

Karen Clarke, CEO and executive producer of the YVAs in an exclusive interview with Music News says Nesbeth’s decision to walk out of the awards because he didn’t win was in poor taste.

In explaining that the YVA’s is a fan-based award, Karen questioned the role of the Broadcasting Commission, the Jamaican government, and Television and Radio stations.
