Bongo Herman To Give Percussion Lessons To High School Students

The Marley family as donated Congo Drums to the Charlie Smith Comprehensive High School, renowned percussionist, Bongo Herman has been selected to give lessons on how to play the instrument.

Bongo who has been in the industry for over 45 years, delivered his first lesson on Monday. The program will run for three months at the school located in Trench Town, Kingston with drumming lessons on Mondays and Thursdays.

The donation of the seven drums was presented to the head of the school’s music program Sherone Parsons last Friday.
