Minister of Education Senator Ruel Reid says by the next school year, a clear policy guideline will be established for hairstyle and grooming for all schools.

He says currently, there are no specific policies by the Ministry, to deal with those issues, however, he has tasked his Permanent Secretary to carry out an island-wide consultation with stakeholders, and provide him with a feedback by March 2017.

Mr. Reid said while he prepares the policy, stakeholders need to dialogue with schools, to ensure that the rules that now exist, are clear.
