Jahvillani Biography

Jahvillani, a Virgo, born September 8, 1994 as Dujon Edwards, in the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica. He spent his high school years at Ocho Rios High, Graduating with (7) seven CSEC subjects in 2011.
It didn’t take long for him to realize his love for music; at age 10 he would always be tapping on the desktops to make different beats while in school. Encouragement came from family and friends who could see the potential in his natural talent. He began to cultivate his own unique style with the influence of musical icons Buju Banton , Vybz Kartel and Shabba  Ranks with other genres of music including Reggae ,Dancehall  and Hip Hop .

In 2013, Jahvillani recorded his first song titled “Badda Than Dem” at Y.G.F Records /Junkyard Music Productions. The song showcased that Jahvillani was fleek with his keys and his lyrics were utmost at his age entering the music industry. Jahvillani is a very potent song writer, which made his visit to studios welcome by producers and engineers.
Jahvillani continued his journey by recording more songs with St. Ann Pioneers Tevino and Sassaine. Which later led to a team been formed to work on his career. That team  consist of Reggae sumfest Riddim winner (2013) , former UIM composer  Steeno, Dajure which his known for his splendid works with musicians such as Chezidek , Jah cure , Fantan Mojah and natures entertainment,  Also , Akam entertainment which is operated by Kenardo Nelson, one of the most viewd channel on youtube for reggae and dancehall music.

Since his movement with Y.G.F Records & Sassaine Records, he has had quite an eventful time with releases such as “Gal Come Over” on the “Quick Touch Riddim”, “Protect My Life” on the “Smooth Swing Riddim”, “Touch Fi Remember” and “Ova Bad” which have all been getting rave reviews and heavy rotation on Mixtapes, Streets and underground radio stations. One of his singles entitled “How Mi Suh Bad” give him the opportunity for his music to be start playing outside of Jamaica, in countries such as Guyana, Portugal and Panama.   . Jahvillani was also been  scouting by number of producers including Andrew Blaxx , Tj Records, Notnice Records to name a few. He has also been in the media with a radio interview and documentary.

2014 into 2015 has met Jahvillani with a considerable amount of growth; the artiste has gained more popularity and recognition for his lyrical prowess and versatility. In recent times he has become one of the anticipated freestyle artistes and very commanding when performing.
Jahvillani is now signed to Kwashawna Records, owned by Shawn Campbell (Shawn Storm, Sivva). Jahvillani since then has released new songs from prominent producers in the business, such as, “Which Part Mi Grow” on pressure riddim, “Money Weh Yuh Tun” on Mama Koka Riddim by his signed label and “See Mi N Dweet” by YGF records.
