Attorney Valerie Neita-Robertson suggested to a witness from the Vybz Kartel murder trial that jurors had agreed beforehand they would return a guilty verdict and throw a party to celebrate it.

But the witness denied that this had happened.

The attorney went further to suggest that there was a guest list for the party and that a particular juror was tasked to find the location in Port Royal.

However the witness also denied this suggestion. At that point the prosecuting attorney made a comment, prompting Neita-Robertson to tell the court that she could provide the names on the guest list.

Regarding the alleged pre-planned verdict, Neita-Robertson put it to the witness that her client, Livingston Caine, had voiced his disapproval and said he was going to report the matter to the judge. The witness denied that this had happened.

Caine is being tried on five counts of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and a count of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He is accused of attempting to bribe fellow jurors to return a not guilty verdict in the murder trial of Vybz Kartel and three co-accused.
