Jamaicans Fear Muslim Community Following Reports Of The Teen Boy Attempting To Join ISIS

A member of the Muslim community in Jamaica St Mary  Mohammed Abdullah el-Faisal say they are concerned, that reports of the teen boy, who was accused of attempting to join terrorist group, ISIS, have caused citizens to view them with fear.
The Muslim community says it will be engaging in public education sessions to sensitize citizens that Muslims are a peaceful people and that they are not affiliated with the terrorist group.

Muslim leader, Mohammed says reports that a Quran was found at the teens home, by the police during a search, are not indicative of the child being a Muslim.

According to him, the connections being made with the teen boy, ISIS and Muslims have hurt the community, and have caused some people to treat them differently.
