Demarco Says “If Ah Nuh Vybz Kartel Is Me”

Dancehall artist Demarco
has been causing quite a stir on the local scene since the start of the
year and has come out swinging in a new song titled ‘Put The Duppy Pon
‘ boldly stating that, “If Ah Nuh Addi Innocent then a Bun
the streets
play the most”
. Addi Innocent is the newest moniker adapted by
incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel who is currently serving a 35 years prison sentence for the murder.
The song featured on the Wul Dem Riddim produced by Dj Sunshine’s Yellow Moon Records was recorded and
released last week and many are already speculating it’s a diss aimed at Mavado
and Alkaline.

According to sources
they believe the song could be aimed at them and other pretenders who have
taken to the media to lay claims of ‘running dancehall’.
Here are a few lines from the song:

“A dat dem a seh… a joke dis.. Ask outta road any jail house

so tell some duppy bat ghost… if anno Addi
Innocent then a Bun Up the streets play the most

real badman nuh ramp nuh trace nuh argue all
when a thirty man still a put the duppy pon yuh”

As the song progress
Demarco continues, “them a lip and them a yap we nuh chat lef bwoy pon
asphalt that a gap, we tun a bwoy eyeball inna black.. nuh snitch nuh five-o
cyaah call me nuh cop”

It’s alleged the above lines are directly aimed
at Alkaline and Mavado who has
also been accused by Bounty Killer and others of being an informant.
