Vybz Kartel Case File Was Not Missing Says His Lawyer

Vybz Kartel returns to Home Circuit court today and fans are hoping his murder trial will get underway.
Yesterday the “Dancehall Hero” deejay case was pushed back to today after the prosecution claim the case file was missing.
However, Kartel’s attorney, Chris Tavares-Finson, told reporters that the case file was not missing.

According to Tavares-Finson, a prosecutor who was in possession of
the case file did not show up to court on Monday. A judge rescheduled
the case to Tuesday, July 9.
Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, is on trial for the murder of St. Catherine businessman/promoter Barrington “Bossie” Burton.
Investigators say Burton was shot and killed in July of 2011 while
standing with friends in along Walkers Avenue in Gregory Park, St.
Catherine.
Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald were also charged with Burton’s murder.
