following a court ruling that freed Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, of a murder charge, a statement attributed to the deejay began
making the rounds via social media and the Internet.
The statement was made available to our news team through a close
associate of Kartel, who claimed that it was authentic and came directly
from the deejay.
In the closing section of the statement the deejay openly
expressed resentment for deejays Popcaan and Tommy Lee Sparta, while
showering praises on those considered most loyal and endorsing a new
name to the dancehall.
